The Group Head Procurement Operations is accountable for the institutionalization of operational excellence across the global Managed Services and Procurement Operations organization by enforcing standardized processes, ensuring execution, simplification, automation, and continuous improvement at scale.
In a phased transformation approach, the role will:
- Oversee Sourcing Excellence and Procurement Operations (Tail Spend Management) with an ambition to standardize and industrialize Source to Contract and global operating centers to establish a consistent and high-performing execution baseline.
- Embed AI-driven operating models to significantly enhance productivity and structurally reduce manual effort ensuring global scalability of Chain IQ’s managed services operations.
- Drive advanced automation, AI orchestration and strategic value creation, partnering with the COO, CPO and CTO to elevate procurement operations into a data-driven, insight-led, and value-generating function.
The role acts as the guardian of standards, discipline, and quality, ensuring that our procurement services are delivered consistently, efficiently, and with superior client experience, while enabling the scalable rollout of Chain IQs target operating model (TOM).
Experience & Profile
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in Procurement Operations or Managed Services.
- Deep understanding of procurement processes, systems, and governance.
- Proven track record in process standardization and operational scaling on a global level.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution discipline and behavioral change in global, matrix organizations.
- High degree of operational rigor, problem-solving capability, and root cause orientation.
- Strong capability in data-driven decision-making and performance management.
- Strong client-centric mindset combined with strict adherence to governance, risk, and data security standards.
- High level of commitment, resilience, and results orientation.
