ABOUT THE ROLE
Retail Media is a key growth driver for the Partnership and a strategic priority across John Lewis. We are on an exciting transformation journey, evolving our capabilities to deliver more personalised customer experiences and create impactful Retail Media solutions for our strategic and emerging clients.As a Retail Media Activation Assistant, you will support the Retail Media Activation Specialist and Manager to deliver a variety of supplier-funded campaigns across our Technology and Home categories, managing both annual strategic plans and ad hoc campaign activity. You will work closely with clients, the Retail Media sales team, channel specialists and Category Marketing teams to coordinate campaign delivery, ensuring activity is executed effectively, on time and against agreed objectives. Your responsibilities will predominantly include managing onsite campaigns across a portfolio of Technology and Home clients, with opportunity to develop experience across additional channels as you grow in the role.
You will monitor campaign performance, support the preparation of PCA reports and work with the Retail Media sales team to communicate results back to clients, helping to inform future plans and investment. You’ll be highly organised, proactive and keen to learn, with an interest in Retail Media and delivering strong outcomes for clients.

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £4.25 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Salary: £29,300.00 - £43,400.00 per annum
Salary up to: £32,000.00 per annum based on skill and experience

35 hours per week
Your home location will be our London, Pimlico Head Office
This is a hybrid working role. The expectation is a minimum of 2-3 days per week in the office as team collaboration is critical in this role - core days vary between teams
The role: This role sits within our Technology and Home categories however you will be expected to work flexibly across other categories (Fashion and Beauty)
Key responsibilities:
Managing execution of onsite placements to include briefing our design agency & online platforms, acquiring assets from our clients, and capturing proof of execution for reporting
Supporting and activating other channels alongside Channel champions
Support the delivery of the annual calendar of initiatives for all brands with guidance from more senior Marketing Activation Partners. This will include briefing booked activity into channels for activation
Support the delivery of defined elements within an overall marketing campaign, including briefing, asset management, campaign set-up, stakeholder coordination etc.
Work with brand/seasonal campaign teams to coordinate retail media participation in brand and seasonal campaigns
Monitor performance of the retail media funded campaigns and support the preparation of PCA reports
Support relationship building with key stakeholders
Work collaboratively across the business to ensure delivery of agreed milestones/SLA’s
Support the successful delivery of Retail Media campaigns in line with agreed objectives, timelines and service levels
Report on the success of the activity and communicate this regularly
You’ll be highly organised, proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Essential skills and/or experience you’ll need:
Evidence of customer orientation, effective stakeholder management, planning and prioritisation and managing multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Project management skills in any field
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience supporting the delivery of campaigns or projects
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and motivated by supporting a growing team
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Desirable skills and/or experience you may have:
Relevant marketing campaign management experience
Experience supporting digital marketing or media campaigns
Experience working with external clients, agencies or suppliers
Experience in data, insight and analytics
Relevant experience supporting within a retail media environment
Relevant experience working within the retail sector
