About This Location:
Our Home Office is in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This is an on-site, office-based role requiring attendance in the office five days per week.

About This Role:
The Financial Analyst will support the Business Planning & Analysis team and report to the Senior Manager of Business Planning & Analysis. This position blends recurring financial reporting responsibilities with analytical and process improvement initiatives, making it well suited for someone who enjoys creating structure, enhancing reporting processes, and supporting business decisions through both routine and ad hoc analysis. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strong problem-solving mindset, has experience leading projects, and communicates effectively. This role also supports progression toward the CPA designation through the Experience Verification (EV) pathway.
Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:
- Completion of a university or college program in a business or accounting program.
- One to three years of related experience with direct experience in financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Fabric or Power BI is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining a consistently high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and be able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills with experience investigating and analyzing financial information to formulate conclusions.
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
- Possesses a keen sense of initiative with a desire to continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities:
- Performing monthly sales variance analysis and presenting findings.
- Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting through collaboration with Accounting and Data teams.
- Participating in monthly close activities including the completion of analysis and the preparation of journals.
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing financial models to assess performance, growth opportunities, and capital allocation.
- Delivering clear, actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
- Supporting the overall annual budget cycle in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Enhancing forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency through automation and scalable tools.
- Supporting continuous improvement across FP&A systems and processes.
