Job Description

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Manage assets through accurate inventory control, forward maintenance planning, and ensuring optimal condition of equipment.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and career development.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address operational concerns and align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective maintenance and repair services.
  • Partner with the sustainability team to implement energy-saving initiatives that reduce carbon footprint and utility costs.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics; identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and foster a strong safety culture across the team.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in maintenance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and processes.
  • Develop detailed project plans including design, scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Lead project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to plans.
  • Manage project resources (personnel, budget, materials) and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change requests, and version control.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial discipline while optimizing resource use.
  • Implement standardized maintenance practices, tools, and training programs across regions to boost efficiency and collaboration.
  • Support procurement by coordinating with finance, legal, and supply chain for seamless purchasing processes.
  • Experience managing and developing team members. 

  • You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the respective field. 

  • Great stakeholder management experience both internally and externally. 

  • You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job. 

  • Language skills: Fluent English and Arabic would be a plus.
