Model analysis & challenge: Review, interpret and challenge catastrophe model outputs, clearly articulating key risk drivers, movements and uncertainties
Exposure governance: Ensure data quality, robust assumptions and documentation, supporting strong governance and auditability of exposure management processes
Stakeholder & committee support: Prepare analysis, insights and papers for senior forums including ECMG and RCC, influencing underwriting and portfolio decisions
Technical leadership & improvement: Act as a senior reference point, providing peer review and enhancing tools, processes and analytics to improve insight and efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Catastrophe modelling expertise: Proven experience in catastrophe modelling and exposure management within the Lloyd’s or London Market
Portfolio-level judgement: Ability to operate at portfolio and governance level, applying critical thinking and constructive challenge
Technical communication skills: Strong capability to translate complex modelling outputs into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Market & regulatory knowledge: Good understanding of underwriting, reinsurance structures and Lloyd’s exposure reporting frameworks
Organisation & stakeholder management: Highly organised, analytical and confident engaging with senior stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial and risk
