Job Description
As a General Ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledger entries and reconciling financial statements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that ledger data is accurate and precise under Sox and US GAAP environment. You will be working within a large organization, having contact with diverse business partners from various departments and countries. It is an exciting opportunity to learn new things, to implement best practices for the processes and to standardize the common GL tasks. General Ledger Accountant Work Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure Data Accuracy
- Analyse Financial Information
- Support Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Close Processes
- Reconcile Accounts
- Prepare Journal Entries for accruals, prepaid releases, sales/cost provisions, depreciation and amortization
- Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries
- Fixed and intangible assets maintenance
- Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits
- Financial reporting
- Sox controls documentation
- US GAAP reporting
General Ledger Accountant Key Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential
- Be an effective team player with ability to work under own initiative
- Strong computer skills especially MS Office
