Tasks
As a Public and Regulatory Affairs Manager (m/f/d/x), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our relationships with political and regulatory stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and actively influencing political and regulatory developments, with a particular focus on telecommunications regulation and European Union regulatory policy. Leveraging your expertise in public affairs, political communication, and policy analysis, you will make a significant contribution to positioning our company in the evolving digital policy landscape.
In this role, you will represent Deutsche Telekom's interests before policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders while building and maintaining productive relationships with key decision-makers to support the company's strategic objectives in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
Profile
You hold an outstanding university degree in Business Administration/Economics, Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline. Specialization in telecommunications law, competition law, European Union law, and the economics of network industries and digital platforms is considered a strong advantage.
In addition, you bring the following qualifications and competencies:
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and data visualization.
- A sound understanding of societal developments, public policy, and Government Affairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a professional and confident presence.
- The ability to distill and communicate complex political and regulatory issues clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AI-powered applications and digital productivity tools is considered an advantage.
