About the Role

We're hiring a Salesforce Developer who is, first and foremost, a strong software engineer. You'll design and build enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform — bringing the same engineering rigor to Salesforce extensions that you'd bring to any production codebase. Clean code, sound architecture, and maintainability come first.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions: Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
• Build and extend Flows and declarative tools where appropriate — and write code when needed.
• Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Manage deployments through Salesforce CLI and CI/CD pipelines with proper source control practices.
• Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and troubleshoot production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience, with significant time on the Salesforce platform.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I) a plus.

Must have skills: 

• Programming

• Strong proficiency in Apex and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid grasp of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and unit testing.
• Git source control with disciplined branching workflows.

• Salesforce Platform

• Salesforce development: Apex (including asynchronous Apex), triggers, SOQL/SOSL, and the Salesforce data and security model.
• Lightning Web Components and Aura development for custom UI.
• Flows, Validation Rules, and other declarative tools.
• Solution lifecycle management across sandboxes and environments.

• Integration & DevOps 

• Salesforce CLI and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset, or similar).
• REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.

Nice to have

• Sales Cloud configuration and customization.
• Experience implementing or extending managed packages (AppExchange / ISV products).
• Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Data migration tooling (Data Loader, Workbench).
• Experience with Einstein, Data Cloud, or Salesforce AI features.
