Associate General Counsel, Legal

Job Summary: Coherent is seeking an Associate General Counsel, ITAR and CMMC (U.S.) to serve as the company’s legal subject matter expert on ITAR and CMMC compliance across U.S. operations. This role will provide strategic legal guidance on export controls and cybersecurity compliance related to Coherent’s photonics, laser, and optics technologies supporting industrial, communications, datacenter, and defense-related applications. The position will serve as the senior Empowered Official, oversee CMMC compliance efforts, partner cross-functionally with business and technical teams, and drive continuous improvement of the company’s ITAR and CMMC compliance programs.
