Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the daily leadership, management, and profitability of all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, and banquet/catering functions. This position ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, financial performance, and team member engagement while maintaining brand standards and company objectives.
What You Will Accomplish
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop food and beverage team members to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with culinary, banquet, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and outlet operations.
- Manage labor scheduling and staffing levels to maximize productivity while controlling labor costs.
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operating expenses to achieve budgeted financial goals.
- Analyze revenue, labor, and cost reports to identify opportunities for improvement and increased profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing practices, and cost-control procedures.
- Support menu development, promotional programs, and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage facilities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the department.
What You Will Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, labor management, and financial controls.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
