Asst Mgr / Mgr / Snr Mgr, Finance Business Partnering

[What the role is]

The incumbent will be part of the Finance team involved in the accounts payable function, business partnering and other finance functions such as treasury management.

Functional Competency required

• Procurement – Strategy and Policy

• Business Partnering

• Financial Reporting

Accounts Payable

• Approve invoice processing

• Approve supplier creation

• Provide guidance to line departments on payment policies and processes to ensure compliance

• Report on payment statistics

• Identify and propose process improvements

• Support system enhancements

Business Partnering

• Partner internal stakeholders on financial operations, budgeting and resource management matters

• Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with financial and procurement regulations and guidelines

Finance function such as Treasury Management

• Oversee investment performance and bank administration

• Contribute to timely month-end closing and prepare / review financial schedules

• Compile and submit ad-hoc returns to government entities

• Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Government Instruction Manual on Finance and Procurement

• Background in Accounting or Finance

• Previous experience in business partnering roles
