School Nutrition Substitute

POSITION SUMMARY:  Madison County Public Schools is seeking a Substitute School Nutrition Assistant.
 
  
REQUIRED: 

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to follow oral and written direction.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Ability to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations. 
• Must be able to lift 40-pound cases when working in storage areas.
• Must be willing to wear uniform-type clothing; hairnet or cap covering hair; and leather closed-toe, non-skid shoes.

 

• Preparation of assigned foods served for breakfast and lunch to meet USDA program requirements.
• Serves and maintains food on the service line during meal times.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining food production equipment.
• Maintains high standards of sanitation and personnel safety in the cafeteria.
• Must be neat in appearance and follow good personal hygiene rules necessary in a food service environment.
