Homebound Tutor

Posting: Part-Time Tutor (home instruction) for a high school student for up to 29 hours during the Summer of 2026.

Description: The Madison-Plains Local School District (MPLSD) is in need of a part-time tutor for a high school student for up to 29 hours during the Summer of 2026. The hours will be on a flexible schedule. The pay rate for this position is $25.00/hr. An electronic timesheet will need to be completed and submitted on a weekly basis (every Friday) to be approved by the Director of Student Services. 

Madison-Plains Local School is located in Madison County, Ohio, the Madison-Plains Local School District is on one campus and is located approximately 40 miles southwest of Columbus, Ohio, a short drive off Interstate 71. 

Qualifications: 

• Appropriate intervention specialist licensure/certification within the state of Ohio.
• Current documentation of clear criminal history via FBI/BCI background checks
