Role: Senior Pharmacy Technician
Location: The Princess Grace Hospital, Central London
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday with contribution to weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rota basis
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at The Princess Grace Hospital currently rated “Good” by the CQC. The Princess Grace Hospital, part of the world-renowned HCA Healthcare UK, offers a range of specialist services including complex surgery, medical and intensive care.
As a key member of the Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient medicines management across the hospital.
You will take oversight of core pharmacy operations, including dispensary services, medicines management, procurement, stock control, medicines distribution, ward top-up, and patient services, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
Working closely with the Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will support the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of pharmacy operations, helping to shape and enhance services to meet the evolving needs of patients and clinical teams.
You will also contribute to service development and quality improvement, including involvement in audits, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and playing a key role in relevant Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) and clinical governance initiatives.

Accredited Checking Technician
Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy
Experience in motivating and leading by example within a team
