Production Operator EC&ACP

Work from standard operating procedures, technical work documents and supervisory direction. Perform administrative functions such as completing facility operating procedures, assemble and distribute daily turnover reports, take and document equipment readings, complete sample requests, stock supplies, participate in procedure development and validations, and other administrative duties as required. Operate and perform surveillance of auxiliary/support equipment. Communicate with managers, supervisors, operators and other support personnel to ensure safe, effective operations. Participate in event/issue investigations. Be aware of changes in facility conditions (radiological, environmental, or potentially hazardous) and make appropriate notifications. Collect groundwater samples from monitoring wells and streams using various sampling methods and equipment in accordance with site and facility procedures. Record sample field data into electronic handheld computer tablets. Maintain sampling equipment and perform instrument calibrations. Assemble sample kits and record information on sample chains of custody. Package, Label, and Ship samples in accordance with site and facility procedures. Must be comfortable working alone in wooded and swampy areas while being exposed to different types of wildlife, extreme temperatures and other inclement weather conditions. Must be detail oriented and have strong procedural compliance skills.
