Job Description
Reporting to the Casino Operations Controller, the Cage Manager directs the cashiering area in a manner that safeguards the assets of the company. This position interacts extensively with Guests as well as Collections, Cashier and Regulatory Compliance Departments as well as with Casino Hosts, and Total Rewards personnel.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Manages and directs the day-to-day operations of Cage including safeguarding assets.
Guides and instructs Cage Team Members in the proper performance of their duties.
Plans, develops, and implements revised procedures to improve the efficiency and profitability of assigned areas.
Management of cashiering variance policy and subsequent disciplinary measures
Provides labor analysis and ensures efficient utilization based upon business needs.
Integrates customer satisfaction strategy through anticipation of customer needs and service offerings.
Ensures training and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Oversees and/or personally gathers all information required to establish, update, and perform periodic review of casino check cashing accounts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
General business and accounting knowledge with broad knowledge of casino, slot and table games, rules,
regulations, procedures, and administration preferred.
Strong organizational, managerial and communication skills required.
Demonstrated strong leadership, analytical and decision-making competencies.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be 21 years old or older.
Must be able to obtain a required Key Gaming License.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; and can push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
