Job Purpose

The Product Marketing Manager plays a key role in shaping how ZDHC explains its work, products, and ambitions to the outside world.

This is not a traditional marketing coordination role. The position sits at the intersection of product thinking, storytelling, sustainability, market engagement, and go-to-market strategy. A large part of the role involves helping translate complex, evolving, and sometimes messy ideas into clear narratives, positioning, value propositions, and stakeholder-facing materials that people can understand and engage with.

Working closely with the Senior Market & Product Growth Manager, the role leads the development and execution of externally facing narratives, campaigns, launches, and go-to-market approaches linked to ZDHC’s programmes, digital ecosystem, and future product directions.

The role will also work closely with different product and programme leads across the ZDHC ecosystem to help shape, refine, and support the execution of go-to-market strategies for key initiatives, tools, and services. This includes helping teams clarify positioning, sharpen messaging, align narratives, and translate evolving concepts into coherent market-facing stories.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building structure in environments that are still evolving, is comfortable navigating ambiguity and strong opinions, and can combine strategic thinking with practical execution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Narrative and positioning development

  • Lead / own the development and refinement of clear programme, product, and ecosystem narratives across ZDHC initiatives.

  • Translate technical concepts, data-driven ideas, and evolving programme logic into compelling and accessible stakeholder-facing language.

  • Shape positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for both existing and emerging products and services.

  • Lead the development of storytelling and messaging that helps stakeholders understand not only what ZDHC does, but why it matters.

  • Work closely with the Communications team to align product, programme, and ecosystem narratives across campaigns and external communications.

Go-to-market support

  • Work with product and programme leads to shape and execute go-to-market strategies across the ZDHC ecosystem.

  • Lead positioning, messaging, stakeholder engagement, and marketing activities around launches, pilots, events, and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop and own a set of campaigns, presentations, onboarding materials, and market-facing assets linked to new and existing offerings.

  • Manage external agencies or creative resources where needed.

Marketing materials and content development

  • Develop and maintain high-quality marketing and stakeholder-facing materials, including presentations, overviews, concept notes, onboarding content, and strategic messaging.

  • Define and track success metrics for campaigns, launches, and market engagement activities, including adoption rates, stakeholder reach, engagement levels, and other relevant KPIs.

  • Ensure materials remain aligned, up to date, and consistent across teams and initiatives, and maintain a structured library of reusable assets, templates, and narrative resources.
