- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies across the organization, in alignment with Global Strategy
- Manage the organization’s supply portfolio and finances and ensure transparency in spending.
- Lead the sourcing and procurement activities for the assigned categories of products
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Analyze market trends and leverage industry knowledge to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing improvements.
- Research and anticipate the negotiating powers of suppliers.
- Identify possible sourcing risks and avoid or minimize them.
- Discover and start partnerships with trustworthy vendors and build positive long-lasting relationships with them.
- Forecasting: Forecast future sourcing needs and trends to develop strategic sourcing plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and operational requirements.
Skills needed
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships and contracts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software and tools.
- Successful leadership of strategic sourcing functions within a large, complex organization.
- A history of driving cost savings and operational efficiencies through innovative sourcing strategies and supplier management.
- Has excellent decision-making skills that are driven by data and logic.
