Job Description
JD Edwards Functional Consultant – Distribution (Expert Level)
Requirements
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in JD Edwards (JDE) functional consulting
- Proven experience in Distribution modules implementation/support
- Experience in full lifecycle implementations or rollouts (highly preferred)
- End-to-end understanding of:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Inventory & Warehouse operations
- Strong hands-on experience in Inventory Management (Stock control, locations, lot management, inventory movements)
- Strong hands-on experience in Sales Order Management (Order entry, pricing, fulfillment, shipping, invoicing)
- Strong hands-on experience in Procurement (Purchasing) (Purchase orders, supplier management, receiving, 3-way match)
Nice to Have
- Experience with integrations (WMS, CRM, Finance systems)
- Knowledge of JDE Financials (AR/AP)
- Experience in industries such as Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities (Activities to Perform)
- Analyze and gather business requirements from stakeholders
- Design and configure JD Edwards solutions to support business processes
- Lead functional workstreams across distribution modules
- Support end-to-end supply chain processes (Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash)
- Configure and maintain Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement (Purchasing)
- Perform system testing (SIT/UAT) and support go-live activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues and incidents
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and customizations
- Provide user training and functional documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements within JDE
- Ensure system configurations align with business and compliance requirements
