We are growing, which is why we are recruiting for a talented, go-getter Business Development Manager to expand our sales operations in the APAC region with a focus on Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
About The Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business opportunities and profitable revenue growth within key existing accounts. This role is critical for driving growth through new business revenues and expanding the company's footprint in designated markets, namely Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. The Business Development Manager will work closely with marketing, product, and pre-sales to ensure that sales strategies and goals are aligned with overall business objectives. Regular interaction with external clients and internal stakeholders is essential for the success of this role.
Job Responsibilities
As a BDM you are responsible for selling our IaaS solutions. You will be growing our market share by following up on qualified leads and turning them into Leaseweb customers. You will take ownership of relationships and business deals with potential and existing clients. This position is characterized by freedom of action, drive, sense of responsibility and, of course a strong commercial focus.
Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas.
Utilize advanced demand generation techniques and sales engagement tools to effectively generate and qualify leads.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation to sales closure.
Employ knowledge of cloud, datacenter, and managed services to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with new customers, focusing on long-term business engagements.
Demonstrate exemplary communication skills to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
Capture and document customer requirements in CRM systems promptly and accurately.
Job Requirements
You are an energetic go-getter who is truly customer focused and result driven. Furthermore, you have a proven ability to turn leads into deals, who eventually turn into long term relationships. We are looking for:
Ideally 5+ years of B2B commercial sales experience in the technology industry with a focus on new business acquisition
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Experienced in or interest in the IT Industry with a strong emphasis on cloud solutions, datacenter and managed services.
Go-getter, willing to go the extra mile to turn a lead into a deal
Ability to negotiate and deal with client across various cultures
Strong verbal and written communication in English and another Asian language will be a plus.
