Job Description
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Supports all processes regarding customer complaints , statistical quality control (SQC), out of
specification (OOS), and deviation management from QC perspective, including but not limited to all
Standard Work Process (SWP), Management System, and analytical responsibilities. This position
provides analytical guidance, aid, and support to Production Units to achieve Quality and capacity
goals, with a priority on reducing complaints and NCM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for tracing and driving on customer quality problem solving progress; Lead root cause investigations and analysis for customer complaints. Ensure that solutions to quality issues are properly implemented and upheld;
- Participate and support NCM SWP as a QC representative and provide guidance in resolving the NCM with recommended corrective actions, analytical support, and final disposition.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate, SQC data and establish mitigation steps when appropriate within the QC Laboratory and with collaboration of the production units.
- Participate in multifunctional quality improvement project teams.
- Conduct process audits and proactively identify risks or improvement opportunities in production control and quality control;
- Be responsible for working with PT, Process and production and sales from a quality perspective, more specifically, MA approval, MOC evaluation ,spec setting ;
- Conduct supplier audit on site to improve supplier quality;
- Support various internal audits and external audits
- Other task from line manager
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
- Education Background:
- Bachelor degree and above in chemistry, material science, engineering related.
- Experience:
- At least 8 years chemical industrial work experience on quality assurance or customer quality, focus on customer complaint handling and internal quality improvement.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiar with fine chemical production, experience in continuous production mode quality control is preferred.
- Proactive and results oriented thinking,strong closed-loop management sense
- Good communications skill among different functions
- Strong problem solving skills – 6 Sigma, 8D, A3
- Good software skill on Excel, PPT, Minitab
- Fluent in English – written, verbal
- Good presentation skill
- Good auditing techniques,ISO 9001 internal auditor certification is mandatory
- Strong ability to work under pressure and capable of handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
