What You'll Do
Join Solenis as Business Development Manager to be a part of our growing Data Center team and play a key role in expanding our presence across Malaysia's data center market. In this role, you will drive strategic business development initiatives, build relationships with key stakeholders across the data center ecosystem, and position Solenis as a trusted partner for sustainable water treatment solutions.
Your Role at a Glance:
Drive Data Center business development activities in Malaysia, including new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
Identify and pursue business opportunities with data center owners and operators, colocation providers, EPCs, contractors, and facility management companies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including operators, consultants, engineering teams, and facility managers.
Engage with customers throughout various project phases, including design, construction, commissioning, and operational stages, to position Chem-Aqua's water treatment solutions effectively.
Collaborate closely with the hiring manager and local sales teams to align business development strategies and execute growth plans.
Coordinate with local and regional Corporate Account teams to support strategic opportunities and key customer initiatives.
Support vendor qualification, onboarding, and compliance processes with customers and project stakeholders.
Conduct customer meetings, site visits, technical discussions, and presentations to understand customer needs and promote value-based solutions.
Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and pipeline information within Salesforce.
Support proposal preparation, commercial discussions, and follow-up activities to drive successful project conversion.
What You'll Bring to Us
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in water treatment, industrial services, industrial chemicals, or related industries.
Exposure to data center environments or other mission-critical industries is preferred.
Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or key account management.
Basic understanding of cooling water systems, industrial water treatment programs, or facility operations.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial audiences.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a customer-facing environment.
Experience working with EPC contractors, engineering consultants, facility management companies, or industrial end users is advantageous.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, and customer compliance processes is a plus.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
