What you will deliver
- Lead/support delivery of planning and performance management processes/systems
- Coordinate development of in-year and multi-year budgets/forecasts.
- Integrate plans and forecasts cross-functionally and challenge as needed
- Owns, aligns & integrates internal & external forecasting approaches
- Proactively monitor business performance and share insights with leadership
- Support economic activity / FM prep / reserves bookings
- Own the Brazil Planning & Commercial Operations systems set-up and integration with Accounting, Reporting & Control and wider bp
- Supports weekly PPSA (Block Manager) engagement plus JV activities
- Lead/support broader strategy conversations and initiatives
- Support delivery of commercial agreements and enduring commercial tasks
Experience and Qualifications
Top-tier professional (5-10 years experience) in Finance / Commercial roles
Accountancy qualification (i.e. CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry
You will work with
The Finance team is spread across 3 locations - Houston, London & Rio aligned to the wider business locations.
The Key Stakeholders of this role are:
The wider Finance teams both inside the Brazil business and outside.
The different functional teams in the Brazil business (Subsurface, Wells, Projects, Legal, Procurement etc.)
External partners such as government bodies, other oil companies and JV partners.
The role also operates in a multicultural and dynamic environment with significant senior team member exposure
