Description

As the APJ Web & SEO Manager for the Digital Experience Team at Infor, you will serve as the regional authority for website management, search engine optimization (SEO), and localized digital content across Japan and other APJ markets. This is a highly hands-on, individual contributor role with day-to-day responsibility for ensuring regional websites are optimized for discoverability, relevance, and performance across diverse search ecosystems including Google, Yahoo Japan, Naver, and Baidu.

In this role, you will lead keyword research, SEO strategy execution, website and competitive content gap analyses, and the localization of global content to ensure it is fully optimized for regional audiences and search visibility, accounting for the linguistic, cultural, and search-engine nuances unique to APJ markets. You will also identify, source, and develop new content opportunities that improve organic performance and user engagement.

Working closely with regional stakeholders and the Singapore-based creative team, you will coordinate ongoing website updates, localization reviews, content publishing, and performance reporting, while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance SEO effectiveness and overall website experience across APJ markets.



A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Serve as the day-to-day web and SEO manager for Japan and broader APJ markets, acting as the regional subject-matter expert for website optimization and organic search performance across multiple search engines (Google, Yahoo Japan, Naver, Baidu).

• Lead keyword research and search demand analysis to inform content strategy, on-page optimization, and localization priorities across APJ markets — recognizing that search behavior and query patterns differ significantly across languages and platforms.

• Conduct website audits and competitive content gap analyses to identify opportunities to improve organic visibility, engagement, and conversion performance.

• Localize global web content for APJ audiences, ensuring language, messaging, structure, cultural relevance, and SEO best practices are fully adapted for regional markets especially Japan.

• Source, brief, or develop new regional content (pages, landing experiences, and supporting assets) to address SEO gaps and improve organic performance.

• Coordinate closely with regional marketing stakeholders across multiple APJ time zones to prioritize updates, manage requests, and align website initiatives with regional business goals.

• Partner with the Global creative team to manage content updates, localization workflows, QA reviews, and publishing timelines.

• Ensure all website updates follow SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.

• Monitor and report on SEO and website performance across multiple markets and search engines, providing regular insights, recommendations, and optimization opportunities to stakeholders.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve site structure, internal linking, content quality, and user experience to drive sustained organic growth.



Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Overall 9+ years and 3+ years of proven experience in a hands-on web management and SEO role, ideally supporting multiple regional or international markets.

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO concepts, and content strategy.

• Experience managing website content updates and localization in collaboration with creative, content, and regional teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment spanning multiple time zones.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.



Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal) required; additional APJ languages (Mandarin Chinese or Korean) a strong plus.

• Working proficiency in written Chinese a strong plus, particularly the ability to read and write Simplified Chinese (for Mainland China and Baidu-targeted content) and/or Traditional Chinese (for Taiwan and Hong Kong content). Candidates literate in both scripts are especially valued.

• Experience optimizing for non-Google search engines prevalent in APJ — Yahoo Japan, Naver (Korea), and/or Baidu (China) — including familiarity with their respective webmaster tools.

• Experience working with global or enterprise-scale websites and content management systems (Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal, or similar CMS).

• Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, enterprise SEO platforms) and regional equivalents (Naver Search Advisor, Baidu Webmaster Tools).

• Experience collaborating with distributed or nearshore creative teams across time zones.

• Cultural fluency and experience navigating the diverse business and consumer landscapes across APJ markets.
