Description
Personal Care Assistance
- Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene assistance
- Dressing and toileting support
- Mobility, ambulation, and transfer assistance
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance when needed
- Medication reminders
Companion Care
- Meaningful conversation and social engagement
- Emotional support and companionship
- Participation in activities and community outings
- Observation and reporting of changes in client condition
Key Responsibilities
Household Support
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry and linen changes
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Meal planning and preparation
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Personal Care Aide, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or CNA
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience supporting seniors and individuals living with dementia
- Customer-service mindset and strong interpersonal skills
