Position Details:

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Physician with Board Certification in Cardiology to oversee and direct Nurse Practitioners who provide direct bedside care to nurses in geriatric facilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight and collaboration with Cardiology Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants
  • Monthly meetings/Check-ins with the assigned Nurse Practitioners
  • Staff Supervision of assigned Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
  • Consult with the provider either onsite or via electronic communication (phone, email, etc)
  • Review provider notes and submit summaries for potential regulatory review

 

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MD/DO)
  • Board Certification in Cardiology (preferred) or completion of a ACGME or AOA cardiology residency program in the United States
  • Multi-state licensure and/or IMLCC participation a plus
  • Experience working with or collaborating alongside Advanced Practice Providers
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgment skills
  • Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based psychiatric care
  • Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric setting (preferred)
  • Comfort with remote collaboration and electronic medical record review
  • Travel requirements may vary by collaboration needs
