Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Administration & Facility Management (Primary Responsibility)
- Manage and oversee canteen operations, employee transportation, security services, housekeeping, and gardening activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of office administration activities including stationery, courier, telephone, AMC coordination, office provisions, and vendor management.
- Coordinate facility maintenance activities and ensure timely closure of infrastructure-related issues.
- Monitor and process vendor invoices, service contracts, and related payments.
- Manage visitor management systems, gate control processes, and administrative records.
- Coordinate employee mediclaim activities and annual health check-ups with service providers.
- Ensure availability and upkeep of plant facilities to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
2. Safety, Health & Compliance
- Support implementation of EHS guidelines and ensure adherence to safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
- Promote safe working practices and support initiatives aimed at achieving zero accidents.
- Coordinate safety-related administrative requirements and support compliance audits.
- Maintain records and documentation related to administration and statutory requirements.
3. Contract Labour & Apprentice Management
- Coordinate deployment of contract labour based on plant requirements.
- Monitor contractor attendance, compliance documentation, and billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with contractor management requirements and support contractor audits.
- Coordinate induction training and maintain records for contract labour, apprentices, and NAPS trainees.
- Monitor attendance and documentation of apprentices and other temporary manpower.
4. Employee Welfare & Engagement
- Coordinate employee welfare initiatives and engagement activities within the plant.
- Support organization of health camps, awareness programs, and employee well-being activities.
- Manage employee identity card issuance and related administrative support.
- Maintain records related to long service awards and other employee recognition programs.
5. Administrative Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain administrative records, registers, contracts, and documentation.
- Prepare periodic administration MIS and reports for management review.
- Maintain training records and other plant administration-related databases.
- Support audits by providing required administrative documentation and records.
6. HR Operations Support (Secondary Responsibility)
- Support attendance administration and employee data updates in HR systems.
- Assist in employee onboarding, separation documentation, and issuance of employment-related letters.
- Provide administrative support for payroll inputs and HR record maintenance.
- Assist Plant HR Head in preparation of periodic reports and employee-related documentation.
