Your Mission

 

As a VIE Associate, you will contribute to the generation and characterization of human iPSC-derived in vitro models to support translational neuroscience research.

 

  • You will develop and optimize differentiation protocols to obtain relevant neural cell types, including neurons and glial cells.
  • You will establish robust and reproducible cellular systems reflecting disease-relevant phenotypes.
  • You will perform molecular, cellular, and functional assays to characterize these models.
  • You will analyze experimental data and contribute to the interpretation of disease mechanisms.
  • You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate in vitro findings into broader project strategies.
  • You will support the application of these models for target validation and pharmacological testing.
  • You will ensure high scientific rigor, documentation, and data quality throughout your work.
  • You will actively learn and apply advanced technologies in stem cell biology and neuroscience.

 

Through this experience, you will build expertise in translational in vitro modeling within a drug discovery environment.

 

Your profile

 

  • Diplome: Bachelors and Master degree in Life Sciences
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge and interest in cellular biology
  • High learning capacity and team collaboration skills
  • Pioneer spirit and scientific curiosity

 

Please note that this program is in partnership with Business France, and we follow the prerequisites required by Business France to carry out a VIE assignment. The main participation prerequisites are as follows:

  • Be between 18 and 28 years old; 
  • Hold the nationality of a member country of the European Economic Area; 
  • Have not worked or lived in the country where the mission will take place; 
  • Be available to dedicate yourself to the mission full-time; 
  • If you have French nationality or dual nationality, be in compliance with the national service obligations of France (Numéro Identifiant Défense); 
  • Have a clean criminal record.
