Ansell is looking for a Specialist – Regional Category Management Surgical EMEA to join our team.

In this position, you will support the execution of defined EMEA/ANZ surgical portfolio strategies within Regional Category Management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Category Management Surgical, you will contribute to product portfolio management, growth initiatives, sales support, and pipeline reporting across the region. As a key member of the GPMO team, you will work closely with commercial teams and provide insights and recommendations to regional leadership, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and strong communication across stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Category & Portfolio Support

  • Assist in the execution of category growth plans and product lifecycle management
  • Support the development and maintenance of product data, certifications, and claims documentation
  • Help coordinate product launches, product changes, and discontinuations across the region
  • Provide basic product and technical support to Sales teams and distributors

Market & Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to prepare sales tools, presentations, and training materials
  • Support proofreading and coordination of translations
  • Provide tender support by gathering necessary documentation, certifications, and samples
  • Support Sales and Clinical teams in OR trials and conversion initiatives from latex to non-latex

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update regional systems (e.g., SFDC, PIM, Asset Bank) with accurate product information
  • Coordinate with RCM, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to manage product availability and inventory allocation
  • Support internal communication on product changes, availability, and launches
  • Maintain sample stock for internal training and for distributors and customers

Data & Market Insights

  • Review Salesforce data related to opportunities, new product introductions (NPDs), key products, and non-latex conversions
  • Proactively engage with Sales teams based on data insights
  • Work with Sales and Market Intelligence to gather competitive and market data (e.g., market size, pricing, share, trends)
  • Collaborate with RCM to provide recommendations on product improvements and portfolio updates based on insights

Voice of Customer (VOC) Support

  • Coordinate VOC trials in collaboration with regional Sales teams
  • Manage the distribution of samples for VOC testing
  • Track trial progress and consolidate feedback and survey results
  • Support RCM in providing recommendations to GCM based on trial outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Quality, Global Category teams, and Marketing to ensure alignment on product initiatives

 

KEY POSITION REQUREMENTS:

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics, Life Sciences, or another business-related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a B2B marketing, product management, or sales support role
  • Knowledge of the medical device market is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to participate in conference calls outside standard working hours when required
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%) for Sales & Marketing meetings, tradeshows, distributor meetings, and field visits
