Job Description

In this dynamic role, you’ll be a critical bridge between marketing and our vendor partners to leverage market development funds (MDF) to drive our mutual business growth. Primarily responsible for handling the day-to-day delivery of our global partner marketing program, you’ll build relationships, create and pitch marketing activities, collaborate effectively with the global marketing team to execute deliverables, ensure MDF reimbursement, and provide results on marketing investments. You’ll serve as our partners’ main point of contact for marketing and offer informed guidance on marketing opportunities that meet their business objectives. We’re looking for a channel marketing professional with a talent for fostering strong partner relationships, a solid background in MDF management, and a proven track record of successfully executing strategies in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic partner marketing relationships by developing and executing MDF-funded marketing programs, coordinating cross-functional deliverables, and ensuring strong partner engagement and ROI. The position serves as the primary liaison between partners and internal global marketing teams, overseeing communications, marketing plans, reporting, reimbursement processes, and program performance while driving alignment with business objectives and supporting overall program growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Foster and nurture partner channel relationships, maintain a solid understanding of each partner’s solutions and go-to-market strategies, provide content guidance for partner marketing materials Spearhead the execution of partner marketing deliverables funded by MDF in collaboration with global marketing team peers, acting as an internal advocate for partner needs Develop marketing plans for partners as needed, participate in the development of annual marketing packages Manage all marketing program-related communications with partners as the primary point of contact Document all partner MDF/Co-op committed, collected, and spent for agreed upon partner marketing activities (e.g., events, collateral, website pages); create, collect, and track all agreements and investments Measure effectiveness of partner-funded marketing activities, develop and share quarterly Proof of Performance (POP) and results reporting (e.g., website statistics, the quantity of leads captured, event metrics) Collaborate with global procurement and accounting teams to ensure reimbursement for all marketing activities, provide supporting materials and POP to enable invoicing, and act as an escalation point in resolving partner billing issues Seek approval, claim, and manage MDF using various partner portals to ensure reimbursement, in compliance with individual partner MDF program rules Collect partner materials for marketing activities, and maintain updated calendars to advise partners on the status of their activities Analyze MDF/Co-op spend, develop plans to effectively use funds to maximize partner ROI and support marketing program growth Pitch annual global marketing program and event sponsorship opportunities to partners Additional Duties and Responsibilities Possess deep expertise on how AVI-SPL operates; guide partners on how to maximize their marketing activities and ensure business alignment with regional offices and lines of business Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to direct report(s) to ensure successful execution of marketing deliverables and POP Other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Partner-centric mindset, with the ability to align AVI-SPL’s objectives with those of each partner Metrics-driven, with a relentless focus on tracking MDF investment and driving partner results Ability to effectively interact and maintain constructive working relationships with employees, clients, partners, agencies, and colleagues at all levels Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams Possess excellent strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills Possess deep understanding of marketing process and workstreams, to enable effective collaboration across the global marketing organization Self-starter who takes initiative to achieve goals Possess strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to work and think independently while meeting deadlines Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion Advanced proficiency with demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred Minimum five years of prior marketing experience preferred; B-to-B experience in the Audio Visual, UCC or Technology field desirable Demonstrated experience working with technology partners Working Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
