Job Title: Material Schedule Coordinator
Work Location: Guam
Labor Category: Full-Time |Non-Exempt (CBA - Union)
Pay Rate: $25.31 per hour
Health & Welfare: $5.46 per hour
About the Role
This position serves coordinates and expedites flow of labor, materials, parts, and assemblies within and between departments in accord with production and work completion schedules or department supervisors’ priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinates material flow between departments per production schedules; arranges, tracks, and verifies in-plant transfers while resolving delays or availability issues.
- Reviews production needs, requisitions materials, establishes delivery sequences, and ensures accurate supplier setup in MAXIMO.
- Monitors inventory levels, calculates quantities, and provides routine material status reports to Program Management to support planning and forecasting.
- Develops, updates, and maintains short-, medium-, and long-term schedules for operations, maintenance, and/or projects in MAXIMO; sequences tasks, defines dependencies, identifies critical paths, and aligns labor, materials, and equipment with scheduled activities.
- Transports materials using hand trucks or industrial vehicles as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Two (2) years related work experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job successfully.
- One (1) year work experience with MAXIMO preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control procedures, and property accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory management systems. Experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required for the position.
- Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
- Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork.
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
