Electrical Technician 4

NSF NOIRLab, the U.S. national center for ground‑based optical and infrared astronomy, is seeking an Electrical Technician to support telescope and facility operations at the Gemini Observatory on Maunakea. This role supports the maintenance, operation, repair, and upgrade of observatory electrical systems, including power distribution, generators, UPS, fire alarm systems, and instrumentation. The technician works independently and collaboratively to ensure safe, reliable operations, maintains documentation and inventory, supports upgrades, and complies with safety and regulatory requirements. Position level depends on experience.
