Job Description
As an EVS Attendant at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in public areas, guest spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Your role is crucial in maintaining the impeccable standards expected at a world-class resort, creating a pristine and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
- Maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, lounges, restaurants, fitness centers, spas, and other public areas.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including handrails, elevator buttons, and door handles, to meet health and safety standards.
- Deep clean carpets, floors, and upholstery using specialized equipment.
- Provide friendly and professional service while engaging with guests.
- Maintain a discreet and quiet presence while working in occupied guest areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damaged furniture, or hazards to the appropriate department.
- Replenish restroom and public area amenities, such as hand towels, toiletries, and paper products.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Forbes Travel Guide and resort standards for cleanliness and presentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, housekeeping, or environmental services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining Forbes-rated cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
