Communicate with clients, attend meetings, and present to clients on a regular basis. Translate clients’ marketing goals into successful paid search strategies, while managing client expectations. Educate the paid search team and clients on SEM best practices and strategies. Train and mentor new hires and junior team members, providing guidance on SEM best practices and campaign management. Provide day-to-day supervision of client paid search and analytics programs, including strategic direction, recommendations, and performance management. Provide strategic direction on specific initiatives, identifying key messages or value propositions, as well as the best means to communicate them. Conduct keyword research, build keyword lists, and analyze search volume and competition to provide campaign recommendations. Manage and optimize paid search campaign strategies, including bid optimization, landing page optimization, and search remarketing. Create paid search reports, analyzing campaign performance and providing strategic recommendations for continual improvement. Contribute to paid search and analytics new business pitches. Stay current on emerging trends and act as a thought leader, keeping the team updated on industry changes and best practices. Qualifications 3–5 years of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience, preferably in an agency environment. Strong technical SEM background with a proven track record in paid search engine optimization. Strong background working with the following SEM tools: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Ads 360, Microsoft Ads, and more. Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex data in simple terms. Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities. Keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of web development and JavaScript is an asset. Ideally, a university degree in a Marketing or Management-related field. Additional information Salary Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
