Job Description

 

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for managing the order processing activity for the different organisation, including timely and accurate sales and service order entry and processing of all orders received.  Order management includes order entry, creation of purchase orders, order acknowledgement and keeping customers informed on delivery dates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, verifies the accuracy of customer orders, validates and processes international sales and service orders in different ERP systems
  • Creation of order-related purchase orders, intercompany and third party
  • Delivery date monitoring (maintaining backlog), keeping customers up-to-date and forecast sales
  • Work towards personal KPIs and objectives as outlined
  • Handling requests and issues in the best interest of the customer and company

 

Key Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in Customer Care, Sales Support, or Order Management
  • Accurate and timely data entry skills
  • Advanced level of English language
  • Advanced level of German language will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience in working with customers to resolve order issues
  • Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP applications

  • Ability to follow structured processes and SOPs consistently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with CRM and order management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Navision or similar)
