Job Description

ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Aramco. Inheriting DHL’s logistics excellence and Aramco’s extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth.

ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.

 

Objective:

The Marketing & Communications Specialist (External Comms) Drive ASMO’s commercial growth by executing targeted B2B marketing and communications and marketing activities across both online and offline channels, converting MoU partners into active customers and generate qualified new business opportunities. 

This role is hands-on and execution-driven, requiring strong coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to directly support pipeline development and revenue growth.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement External communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and ensure alignment with ASMO’s mission, vision, and values. 
  • Ensure all External messaging aligns with ASMO’s brand tone, values, and business objectives. 
  • Coordinate with Business Development to identify customer status, priority accounts, and target sectors.
  • Develop tailored pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies 
  • Align messaging with Operations and Procurement teams to accurately reflect capabilities and readiness 
  • Prepare briefing notes, talking points, and key messaging for external engagements and align with ASMO representatives 
  • Create and execute 360° communication plans for key milestones (social media, emailers, press releases, interviews) 
  • Develop the external newsletter end-to-end (content creation, design alignment with ASMO branding, distribution, and database management)
  • Coordinate with media, event organizers, and industry platforms to secure relevant exposure and speaking opportunities 
  • Support event participation end-to-end (pre-event comms, executive materials, post-event follow-ups) 
  • Draft press releases, announcements, opinion pieces, and customer success stories aligned with ASMO milestones 
  • Manage website updates (news, announcements, insights) in coordination with the technology team 
  • Ensure consistency across all external channels (website, social media, media coverage) 
  • Maintain and update marketing materials repository to ensure all content is current and commercially aligned 
  • Manage and grow external contact databases (media, partners, potential customers) 
  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to collect company updates and ensure key messages are effectively delivered. 
  • Work closely with HR, leadership, and other departments to ensure strategic alignment in all external communications. 
  • Support the development and structure of External communication frameworks to ensure a streamlined and effective flow of information within ASMO. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of External communication processes, ensuring they evolve with business needs and industry best practices. 
  • Ensure External communication initiatives adhere to corporate branding guidelines and company policies. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication workflows, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Present regular and ad-hoc External comms reports and surveys

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English & Arabic 
  • 7 years of experience in External communications, corporate communications
  • Proven experience in content writing, External messaging, and managing External communication platforms. (Arabic & English) 
  • Microsoft programs (PowerPoint). 
  • Understanding of the target sectors (energy, chemical & industrial), media relations, communication, attention to detail, speaking (Arabic & English), event planning. Designing. 
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
