
Inside Sales Assistant (Summer Internship)

Description
- Serve as a primary point of contact for sales representatives and customer accounts, handling inquiries, issues, returns, and ongoing communication
- Manage order processing end-to-end, including purchase orders, pricing checks, order adjustments, and customer setup (e.g., shipping addresses)
- Monitor order status and shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery, partnering closely with logistics, warehouse, and accounting teams for execution and invoicing
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product management, and external partners to support account needs, promotions, and inventory management
- Track backorders, forecast demand based on customer trends, and provide regular reports and updates to sales teams, account managers, and customers
- Support account growth by maintaining strong relationships, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for improved service or promotional activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
- Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to speak English fluently (written and verbal)
- Currently enrolled in 3rd year of 4th year college or above
- GPA 3.2+ or higher
- Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
