THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting commercial performance by driving operational excellence, improving sales processes, managing data and reporting, and enabling the sales team to execute effectively. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations and strong business performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Performance Management
- Lead monthly and weekly sales performance tracking, including sell-in, sell-out, forecast accuracy, and KPI dashboard management. Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to Sales Lead.
- Coordinate sales target allocation and monitor progress by channel, account, and region.
Sales Process & Operations Optimization
- Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and reduce administrative workload for the sales team.
- Maintain and enhance CRM, sales tools, and reporting systems.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales activities, promotions, and retail operations.
Commercial Planning & Execution
- Support the development of annual and monthly commercial plans with Sales Lead.
- Ensure alignment of sales programs, trade promotions, and campaign activation across channels.
- Oversee execution tracking, ROI analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Coordination
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on demand planning, sales forecast consolidation, and inventory health management.
- Monitor stock levels, aging, and OOS/overstock situations; propose corrective actions with Sales/SC.
Data Analytics & Business Insights
- Build and maintain dashboards for sales KPIs, trade program performance, and channel insights.
- Conduct post‑campaign analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation.
- Lead ad-hoc business deep dives on pricing, assortment, productivity, or channel opportunities.
Sales Enablement & Team Support
- Support training rollout for sales tools, systems, and process changes.
- Develop and distribute sales materials, guidelines, and communication packages.
- Act as the operational point of contact for sales escalations and internal coordination.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, VM, PR, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to ensure synchronized execution. Support sales leadership in preparing business reviews, presentations, and management reports.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like to make a difference. You will share your valuable experience with the team, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Planning, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and CRM systems.
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, retail, or consumer goods industries preferred.
- High attention to detail, process-oriented mindset, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred
- Experience supporting multi-channel sales (retail, e-commerce, distributors).
- Knowledge of forecasting, trade terms management, or commercial planning.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
