Teacher - School Readiness (LTS)

Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities.

 
Teacher - School Readiness (LTS)
Expected Location: Eastview Education Center
Temporary Full-time position (1.0 FTE)
Position Available: 8/24/2026 to 6/4/2027

Job Summary:
Monticello Schools is looking for a licensed preschool teacher to provide temporary full time direct service for a preschool classroom. 


Licensure:

• Current Birth to Grade 3 or K-5teaching license for the State of Minnesota

 
Essential Skills Required:

• Understanding of the Minnesota Academic Standards for content area
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Hourly Range: $30.18 - $34.83 / Hour  based on the current Faculty Master Agreement 2023-2025
