Rogers Motors in Hermiston Oregon has full-time openings for Car Wash/Lot Attendants in our Hermiston dealerships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner following Rogers Way Initial Contact Work Instructions.
  • Spray specific areas of the vehicle with water and soap prior to vehicle entering car wash.
  • Wash all vehicles by hand.
  • Confirm car exterior is clean upon exit of the car wash and address areas that were not cleaned effectively.
  • Keep car wash area clean and free from hazards, ensuring the facility and all areas utilized in Service and Car Wash areas are organized and optimized for car wash activities.
  • Vacuuming the car as required.
  • Delivering keys back to the Service Advisor or Sales Professional.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record. 
  • Positive attitude and great customer service.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. 
  • Good judgment. 
  • Good physical condition.
  • Hard working attitude and flexibility to serve the customer and our dealership as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior car wash or customer experience is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a physically demanding position. The Car Wash/Lot Attendant will stand six to eight hours per shift and lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds several times during each shift. Will drive vehicles and be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The working conditions described above are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
