Our footprint includes regional presences in Bengaluru, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Pune and Shimoga. How you'll make an impact Responsibilities: Analyse facultative risks and policies placed via the brokers. Setting up the risks including the specifications related to regions, deductions, markets participating on the risks. To ensure risks are timely set up. Coordinating with various teams Sanctions, Partner Assurance, risk and quality for any dependencies or approvals. To ensure the required premium entries (original / adjustments / refunds etc) are timely processed and advised to the markets and ensure that the contractual conditions are met. Understand the client’s business and their programmes, continually working with the placing team to fully understand any specific client requirements Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions Participate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing possible issues before they occur Manage and coordinate workflow around seasonal renewals for assigned accounts Review market security information on reinsurers, checking compliance and financial positions Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement To ensure that the client documentation received from assigned clients are processed timely and advised to the markets. Efficiently handle client queries in respect of the accounts and proactively look at reducing it by providing innovative solutions to the advocate / client as appropriate Perform SPOE check where required for Junior Handlers. Process data as required for client / underwriter statistics. Acts as point of contact to client, broker, local overseas offices, underwriters and management for assigned accounts. Manage and resolve complex queries from assigned clients, coverholders, underwriters, Third Party. Receive and manage assigned clients cash calls / claims instructions in a timely fashion to agree with the market Engage with Bureau markets for prompt agreement and Xchanging offices for agreement / signing of accounts Work closely with broking team to ensure they are kept appraised of issues and developing situations are escalated as necessary. Understands and monitor contract or program experience for assigned Clients, being aware of any anomalies and escalating any concerns to the Client Service Managers and / or Account Executive as appropriate. Is aware of unpaid items and status of collection for regular update and discussion with Clients / stakeholders and ensures problems are escalated to management. Adheres to standard internal processes, policies and procedures, and other external regulatory requirements. Compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and Gallagher best practice and professional codes. Coordinates regular engagements to ensure Client and stakeholders satisfaction and to gain an understanding of assigned Clients business and operating environment. Undertake travel as required to assigned Clients, Reinsurers and/or other Gallagher offices (London / Overseas offices) and attend relevant meetings, ensure meeting notes and follow up actions are completed. Technical knowledge of FAC business and all servicing functions essential pertinent to clients. Creates training plan and conducts training to Junior Claims Handlers and Trainees About you Qualifications: BCOM,BBA, BAF (Finance Background) Behaviors: Understanding of the insurance brokerage business and customer service processes/tasks.
