• Attend a 42-day training (3 rotations) program at the Meliadine mine site;

• Learn how to operate heavy equipment such as Vacuum Truck, Haul Truck and Roller Packer;

• Follow the Trainer’s instructions at all times;

• Those who successfully complete the program will be hired as full-time, permanent Agnico Eagle employees with the Surface Operations Department.

• Nunavut driver’s license class 5 or equivalent;

• Driver’s license class 3 is considered as an asset;

• Willingness to learn;

• Possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team;

• Experience working in a multicultural environment;

• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written);

• Position reserved for Inuit Beneficiary candidates.
