Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

The Scientist I will play a vital role in advancing projects for method development, strategic investment, and instrument installation. They will also pioneer the design of laboratory experiments to foster understanding and deliver solutions for customers. They will be instrumental in developing and implementing analytical capabilities, as well as creating procedures utilized by all team members to ensure shared success. This individual is also invited to partner with our supportive Balazs R&D personnel, as well as with customers in manufacturing to provide analytical problem-solving and support for both fab and lab environments.
Responsibilities
Develop new methods for additional lab chemical and material analysis capabilities
Partner with customers to build alignment and navigate complex situations, such as factory contamination issues
Support excellent lab instrument performance and provides valuable insights into the preventive maintenance program
Contribute to the stewardship of laboratory projects, such as MDL studies and continuous improvement initiatives
Actively listen to and anticipate the needs of the customer for new analysis procedures
Present results and findings at customer sites
Collaborate to identify opportunities to advance our capabilities and contribution in their areas of expertise
Engage with clients to determine requirements and desired outputs, managing projects from beginning to end with high trust and supportive autonomy
Efficiently adopt and embrace new techniques (e.g., building deep familiarity in preparation, analysis, data processing, and reporting)
Collaborate with the production lab as necessary to ensure collective success
Participate in Client Task Forces as a technical representative
Perform analysis and research with high trust and supportive autonomy
Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis and data interpretation
Perform primary and secondary review of data to ensure the highest quality
Strong understanding of process flow within an analytical laboratory
Prepare analysis reports and maintains open communication with customers
Nurture lab staff growth through training on new and existing methods
Work closely with the manager and lab members to ensure a smooth workflow and overall customer satisfaction

Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications
BS in Chemistry or Similar Science and 10 years experience OR MS in Chemistry or Similar Science and 5 years experience OR Ph. D. in Chemistry or Similar Science and 0-2 years experience
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work with others as a team.
Highly organized, disciplined, and goal oriented.
Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Possesses a good work ethic and knows how to get things done.
Possesses good personal time management skills.
Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratory.
Preferred Qualification
Experience with ICP-MS, GC-MS or HPIC
Experience in the semiconductor industry
