Nearshore Sector l GCP Scrum Master
Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our nearshore team in Portugal. In this role, you will serve as a catalyst for organizational agility, guiding cross-functional teams through Agile transformation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You will work with distributed teams across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless communication and efficient project delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across distributed teams in multiple time zones to ensure team alignment and continuous process improvement
- Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and mindset while championing Agile best practices and driving organizational adoption
- Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team productivity, working proactively to resolve conflicts and facilitate problem-solving
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to manage sprint backlogs, ensure proper prioritization of work items, and maintain alignment across programs and initiatives
- Monitor team velocity, burndown charts, and other key metrics to analyze performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and escalation issues to leadership in a timely manner
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- GCP Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms)
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to influence without authority
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Proven experience working with nearshore or distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Experience in identifying and resolving team conflicts and organizational challenges
- Familiarity with Agile transformation initiatives and change management
- Preferred: Advanced Agile certifications (SAFe, PSM II, or equivalent) or background in software development and technology-driven organizations
