What You Will Do:
- Execute hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment of system and process improvements
- Own delivery of small-to-medium initiatives end-to-end – from analysis through build, to testing and rollout
- Actively work within ERP and tool, gaining practical experience in how solutions are implemented
- Build, test, and iterate automation solutions to remove manual work and improve efficiency
- Translate ideas into working outputs — prototypes, reports, workflows, or automation use cases
- Support and participate directly in month-end, reconciliation, or reporting improvements to understand real operational challenges and develop practical AI use cases within finance
- Troubleshoot issues in systems and processes, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
- Work alongside senior team members during delivery to learn by doing, not just observing
- Take ownership of defined tasks/workstreams and ensure they are completed to a high standard and on time
- Continuously convert concepts (AI, automation, improvement ideas) into practical, deployed solutions
Who You Are:
- Strong analytical mindset with an interest in how systems and processes work together
- Experience of working with automation, AI, and or improving ways of working
- Ability to structure problems, analyse information, and communicate clearly
- Comfortable learning new tools and concepts in a fast-evolving environment
- Proactive, organised, and willing to take ownership of tasks and deliverables
Role Summary
This role is an opportunity to build a career at the forefront of how Finance is evolving — moving from manual, reactive processes to automated, AI-enabled, and insight-driven ways of working.
You will support the transformation of Finance Systems into an intelligent finance capability, where processes are simplified, automated, and increasingly supported by AI. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will contribute to improving how Finance operates while building deep expertise in systems, data, and finance processes.
This is a hands-on delivery role focused on building, testing, and implementing solutions — not a pure strategy or coordination role.
