Position Title

Mastering & Fulfilment Operator – Korea

The regular working schedule for this position is Wednesday through Sunday

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure that packages mastered playback correctly, in sync and to client requirements

• Responsible for ensuring high quality services are released on behalf of clients, as well as provide QC service for both long and short form content

• Perform all QC requirements including video and audio

• Perform transcoding and packaging as determined by client requirements

• Actively monitor project risks to foresee problems and proactively identify solutions to rectify

• Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Collaborate and cross-train team members when required

• Monitor performance and KPI’s

• Analyse and monitor production workflows to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance

• Provide simplified explanations of technical workflows, procedures and definitions

• Willing to travel as required. Domestic and Internationally

• Other related technical/administrative tasks

• English language skills is highly regard but not necessary

What you bring:

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:

• Previous experience in a media operations environment or similar role

• Demonstrated knowledge of major media software and hardware such as Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve, Clipster & Transkoder

• Demonstrated ability to develop new procedures and processes

• Understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates etc.

• Strong understanding of Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems

• Knowledge of basic command line operations

• VTR knowledge of current and redundant formats is favourable

• Ability to work well in a small team and independently 

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines

• Basic level understanding of data management and workflows

• Ability to explain in depth technical solutions to clients
