Job Description
As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you act as a key gatekeeper for regulatory reports. You serve as a trusted sparring partner to Regulatory Reporting colleagues, empowering them with valuable insights, expert advice, and critical input and analysis.
Your key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports in compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, AnaCredit, or local regulatory requirements).
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all regulatory submissions, performing detailed reconciliations between regulatory, finance, and risk data.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on regulatory reporting frameworks, providing guidance to stakeholders in Finance, Risk, IT, and senior management.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including methodologies, processes & controls.
- Supporting the Team to improve and automate internal processes & efficiency.
- Developing and performing analytical review and key controls.
- Preparing responses to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders (e.g. Regulators, Management, external auditor)
- Working closely together with various departments within the processing chain (Front Office, Back Office /Operations, Finance, Risk Management)
- Understanding of finance & risk process architecture and supporting systems
- Participating in strategic, tactical and ad-hoc Finance projects

- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike
- a good knowledge of bank accounting, of Lux Gaap and IFRS GAAP
- a strong knowledge of Finance & Regulatory reporting (CSSF and BCL)
- an analytical & change mindset
- a curious and challenging attitude
- a good knowledge of the banking industry, its products and its processes
- an excellent knowledge of MS Office products especially Excel & Business Object
