About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Test Transfer Project Manager to lead and manage semiconductor test transfer projects across global manufacturing sites. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful transfer, qualification, and ramp-up of test solutions while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.

You will act as the key interface between R&D, Product Engineering, Test Development, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to ensure smooth industrialization and mass production readiness.

What You Will Do

  • Lead end-to-end test transfer projects from planning through qualification and production release.
  • Drive project execution to achieve targets related to timeline, quality, yield, cost, and capacity.
  • Coordinate transfer of test programs, hardware, and test methodologies between global manufacturing sites.
  • Develop detailed project plans, milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with Test Development, Product Engineering, QA, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and ensure proper documentation control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor qualification activities including correlation, GR&R, yield validation, and reliability requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between Business Groups, R&D centers, and assembly/test sites to ensure smooth product release into high-volume manufacturing.
  • Drive problem-solving activities related to test yield, test escapes, tester utilization, and transfer-related technical issues.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, gate reviews, and management reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, customer requirements, and semiconductor industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for test efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.

What You Need to Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Physics, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, NPI, industrialization, or project management.
  • Proven experience managing test transfer, production transfer, or NPI projects within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor backend processes, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), test methodologies, and qualification flows.
  • Experience in cross-site or global project coordination is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills including scheduling, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with quality and reliability requirements such as GR&R, correlation, qualification, and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing flows including assembly, wafer test, final test, and reliability screening.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Preferred Attributes

  • Self-driven with strong ownership mindset.
  • Able to work effectively in multicultural and global environments.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight timelines.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.
