York Space Systems is seeking a Materials Analyst to support the internal team with RQ processing and PO updates to include reporting, materials creation and escalations. This position is responsible for:
Requestion and Purchase order generation, updates, and reporting in Oracle, Jira and Power BI.
Internal York Customer Supply Chain and Materials support.
Material Issuances to the end user via collaboration with the Warehouse.
Material availability updates to York’s extended team.
Escalation and Resolution of Material status when need dates do not meet ETAs.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Processing Customer Requests for Requestion creation from start to finish.
Accurately assigning material requests to flight, non-flight, asset and miscellaneous categories.
Track and report on RQ and PO status including material availability and ETAs.
Support York’s internal teams with daily updates on material status by tracking requests all the way through the system and facilitating material issuances out of the warehouse.
Support the Supply Chain and Materials teams with Oracle transactions, material issuances and internal customer updates.
Lease with Finance on accurately coding York assets and assigning cost centers.
QUALIFICIATIONS
Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, or similar
Meticulous attention to detail and Customer centered focus with knowledge in MS Excel, inventory management, material flow, Purchase Ordering
Prior ERP system knowledge preferred – ideally Oracle Cloud
Experience in startup manufacturing operations or the equivalent of 1-2 years of relevant experience
Independent decision-maker willing to work in a cross-functional team environment
Clear and concise verbal communication skills leading to independent problem-solving
