Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Sr Product Manager – Technical (PM-T) to join the Selection Circularity pillar within Selection Excellence Technology (SET), part of EU INTech. This role owns the product strategy and roadmap for Amazon's circular economy, sustainability, and repair initiatives across European stores.
You will define and prioritize the product roadmap for a team of software development engineers and applied scientists building the technology that helps customers make informed, sustainable purchasing decisions and enables selling partners to participate in circular commerce at scale. Your work will directly shape how millions of EU customers discover product durability, environmental scores, repair options, and compliance with evolving EU sustainability regulations (ECGT, Digital Product Passport, Environmental Score).
This is a role where regulatory complexity meets customer experience innovation. The EU is the global leader in sustainability regulation, and Amazon needs technology leaders who can work backwards from customers, tie product inputs to business outcomes, and translate regulatory complexity into customer-facing features that drive both compliance and competitive advantage.
Key job responsibilities
- Influence the development and execution of high-quality feature roadmaps based on the overall product strategy and vision.
- Understand and explain the impact of product features on the strategic value, usability, and performance of Amazon's circularity, sustainability, and repair products across EU stores.
- Make prioritization and trade-off decisions among customer experience, scope, and time to market.
- Manage product planning and development through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including engineers, applied scientists, designers, and business/partner teams.
- Partner with legal, compliance, and external regulatory developments to translate evolving EU requirements into customer-facing product features.
- Write working backwards documents (PR/FAQs, narratives) that define new product features from the customer's perspective and align stakeholders on the problem, solution, and success criteria.
- Define and analyze metrics that measure and benchmark product success.
